I’m a software engineer with 10+ years in cloud security, SaaS, and startups — employee #6 at DivvyCloud, through the Rapid7 acquisition, then a stretch as Director of Engineering before going back to building full time as an individual contributor.

My work is backend and data oriented: Python for a long time, increasingly Go and lower-level systems work, and a persistent interest in databases; Postgres and DuckDB especially. Most of my career has been spent on multi-cloud compliance platforms, data pipelines, and the distributed systems underneath them. Off the clock I run a NixOS homelab and poke at Zig.

Having led teams, I move comfortably between writing code, coaching, product conversations, and talking to customers, and I like organizations that push security, testing, and customer contact early.
